Covid-19 vaccinations are open to all persons 18 years and older as from Friday, 20 August 2021.
All Wits staff and students who are 18 years and older are encouraged to register on the and to get vaccinated.
You can book for your vaccination at any across South Africa.
Steps to receiving your COVID-19 vaccine:
- Register for the Covid-19 vaccine on the government’s .
- Visit the confirmed vaccination site on the date and time of your booking.
- Take your EVDS SMS as proof of registration and your proof of identity (South µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø ID or passport) to the vaccination site.
OR
- Walk-in to any vaccination site to register and vaccinate.
You can go to any or sites close to Wits such as the in Braamfontein, the Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital in Parktown, the Yeoville Recreational Centre or the Hillbrow Clinic. µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø working to secure dedicated spots for staff and students at the Liberty site in Braamfontein.
