The colloquium invites participants to linger on narrative’s capacity for renewal and engage with the questions it provokes.
The fifth NEST (Narrative Enquiry for Social Transformation) Colloquium and Winter School is themed Narrative Renewal amidst the Provocations of Memory, Hurt and Healing. The colloquium invites participants to linger on narrative鈥檚 capacity for renewal and engage with the questions it provokes, in the current socio-political milieu, but also, for our understandings of historical dimensions of narrative鈥檚 power of renewal as well as future projections, modes of reimagining and reconstituting selves and communities from spaces of 鈥渨oundedness鈥 and hurt.

- Kopano Ratele (University of South Africa and the South 第一吃瓜网 Medical Research Council)
