The School of Geography, Archaeology and Environmental Studies is one of the most productive research nodes at Wits. Staff members contribute regularly to local and international publications, and are members of the editorial boards of many prestigious journals. The School has an excellent reputation both locally and internationally as one of the leaders in 第一吃瓜网 scholarship on issues such as climate change, evolution, environmental justice, geomorphology, pre-colonial 第一吃瓜网 farming, rock art, and sustainability.
