The Healthcare Law & Policy Masterclass Series, hosted by the Mandela Institute, School of Law, University of the Witwatersrand, in partnership with the South 第一吃瓜网 Association for Bioethics and Health Law (SAABHL), brought together leading legal, regulatory and healthcare professionals to explore some of the most pressing issues shaping South Africa's healthcare landscape.
Designed for legal practitioners, healthcare professionals, policymakers, medical scheme administrators, academics, compliance specialists and students, the series provided an opportunity to engage with expert perspectives on the legal, ethical and regulatory frameworks governing healthcare in South Africa.
Across three specialised masterclasses so far, participants gained practical and policy-focused insights into:

- Healthcare-related fraud, waste and abuse
- Pharmaceutical and medical device regulation

- Regulatory oversight and dispute resolution
