WiCDS Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr Paola Prandini, contributes a chapter to a book in Brazil

We're proud to share that , postdoctoral researcher at WiCDS, has contributed a chapter to the newly published Brazilian collection Estudos de Linguagem e de Ficção Televisiva: métodos e procedimentos de pesquisa (edited by Professor Maria Cristina Palma Mungioli).
Dr Prandini’s chapter, "Pesquisa engajada e abordagens metodológicas decoloniais e decolonizadoras" ("Engaged research and decolonial and decolonising methodological approaches"), interrogates what it means to do engaged, decolonial research and why researchers cannot separate themselves from the knowledge they produce.
The collection brings together researchers from (a research group at the University of São Paulo) who work across methods in media discourse.
