Mr Lusimadio Soki Simao is a visionary µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø executive, entrepreneur, and strategist with extensive leadership experience across artificial intelligence,  sustainable development, international  trade, investment promotion, media, and  governance. He is widely recognized for founding and scaling impact-driven institutions that align innovation, policy, and inclusive economic growth across Africa.

He is the Founder and Chief Executive  Officer of NeuroGrowth Labs  (NeuroGrowth Hub), an AI-driven software development company delivering data-intelligent solutions tailored to µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø business and societal challenges. Under his leadership, NeuroGrowth Labs integrates advanced analytics, strategic communications, and risk management to support enterprise transformation and public-sector innovation.

Moeketsi Koahela is the Civil Society Liaison Officer of the Pan-µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø Parliament (PAP). Moeketsi served in 2025 as Co-Chair of Youth 20 (Y20), the official Youth Engagement Group of the Group of Twenty (G20) during South Africa’s G20 Presidency.

Moeketsi serves as an expert panel member for Democracy Works Foundation (DWF) Polarisation Project with support from the Ford Foundation.

Including as a Youth Representative of the Cross-Regional Democracy Collective spearheaded by the SNF Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins University.

Fhumulani is an Associate Professor of Water Resources at the University of Limpopo, and co-lead of the Water Institute of Southern Africa (WISA) Climate Change Division. Her research focuses on water resources management, climate change resilience, and sustainable livelihoods in Southern Africa, with a particular emphasis on the Limpopo River Basin.

Holding a PhD in Environmental Sciences (Hydrology), Fhumulani has over a decade of academic and applied experience, including roles at SAEON and WWF South Africa.

She is a committed postgraduate supervisor and early-career researcher mentor and is recognised nationally and internationally for her work integrating Indigenous knowledge with scientific evidence to co-develop inclusive climate adaptation frameworks. She currently leads several funded collaborative research projects with science councils and higher education institutions across the region.

Vhahangwele Masindi (Prof. Dr.)(Ph.D.) (Pr. Sci. Nat.) is a goal-driven Distinguished Professor from the University of South Africa. He has vast experience in water resource management, environmental engineering and environmental sciences.

He is also the subject Editor for Water SA journal and board member of Environmental Science and Technology (ES&T) under the ambit of American Chemical Society (ACS), Earth Critical Zone (ECZ) under Elsevier and Minerals under the MDPI. Furthermore, he is on the list of the “World Ranking of Top 2% Scientists” from 2021 to date.

Specifically, the principal focus of Prof. Masindi is grossly underpinned on waste(water) treatment, water quality, water security, ecological sustainability, waste(water) valorization and beneficiation, and environmental pedagogies.
